Press Play to view a short video explaining why I want to serve on the ACA Board of Directors.
I spent several college summers working at Williams & Fudge on the collection floor. After graduating from college and spending a couple of years in another industry, I was hired for a sales position at our company. The growth of the company allowed for me to move into an internal role after seven years on the road. I have worked directly with or in each department in our company, being promoted to my current position of president in 2015. Having been involved in several benchmark groups, I have a good understanding of many different markets served by our industry.
I’m at a point in my career where it is time to contribute more towards helping to shape our industry and move it forward. I believe we need to remember the lessons we’ve learned while always looking ahead and moving forward. ACA needs a strong board and a strong staff to help support members and tell our story in Washington and elsewhere. I believe I bring a strong skillset to the board that will help ACA lead our members and our industry into the future.
Members of our association need to continue building networks that include people both inside and out of the collection industry. The more that people understand the complexities of our business, the more we can count on them to help us move forward. Showing the value of what we do for the economy, society, and employees within our own community and network will give us long-term success.
Since joining Williams & Fudge in 2000, I have served in various roles within the company, and was promoted to my current position as president in 2015. My wife, Pam, and I have been married for 17 years, raising our three children, Taylor, Peyton & Coalson, in Rock Hill, South Carolina.
